Would-Be Burglar Bites Off Too Much at Cheddars

Armed robbery is proving to be a really bad career move in San Antonio.

Police say early this morning, a 28 year old wanna-be armed robber snuck through a back door entrance of the Cheddar's Restaurant at I-10 and Loop 1604, jammed the gun into the faces of some of the employees, and attempted to rob the business.

But the ten employees inside the restaurant had no time for armed robbers, especially incompetent ones.

They 'jumped' the would-be armed robber, knocked him to the ground, and disarmed him.

They then tied his legs with a linen table cloth, and some of the employees actually sat on the guy until police got there.

He'll face charges of assault and armed robbery.

If they guy had listened to the news, he would have known the down side of the armed robbery business.

Less than 24 hours earlier, at an apartment complex not far from the Cheddars, 34 year old Bo Jett Littleton saw his attempt to become a master criminal fall to pieces when one of two women he was attempting to kidnap escaped.

Littleton is now behind bars on charges that could land him in prison for the rest of his life, including aggravated sexual assault, two counts of aggravated kidnapping, and burglary of a habitation with an attempt to commit a felony.
